Meet Jerry Emerson:

Jerry Emerson has been actively involved in serving the poor and homeless of Fort Worth for 17 years and has been involved in the prayer movement now for over seven years. He has directed and been involved with numerous 24hr prayer meetings as well as teaming up with leaders from the International House of Prayer Kansas City for prayer meetings held in New Orleans during the height of Mardi Gras. In January of 2009 following the One Thing young adult conference held in Kansas City Jerry felt lead to open a House of Prayer in Fort Worth. The Lord soon opened up a door for a temporary location and he has been holding prayer meetings on a regular basis ever since. His vision is to cultivate a place where people can come and pray any time, day or night. Jerry has a special gift for making a way for the presence and power of the Lord to come into meetings and for the past few years has been teaching on Greater Works and the supernatural.

Jerry will graduate from the Kings Seminary Van Nuys California with a Master of Divinity in 2010. He has a BA in music from the University of Arkansas at Monticello and plays multiple instruments. He is an ordained, licensed minister and has been active in ministry in many different capacities since 1986 including missions to Guatemala.

Jerry lives in Fort Worth Texas with his beautiful wife Catherine and their two children Carianna and Joel.
