Fort Worth Prayer Center
At Fort Worth Prayer Center we are dedicated to fulfilling the Lords purposes through night and day prayer and worship. Our mandate is taken from an eight-century prophecy written by the prophet Isaiah.
"I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth" (Isaiah 62:6-7 NKJV).
"Your watchmen shall lift up their voices, with their voices they shall sing together; for they shall see eye to eye when the Lord brings back Zion" (Isaiah 52:8).
This is a prophetic proclamation given by the Spirit of the Lord through His servant telling of a day and time in history when night and day prayer and worship would be established in the earth and that it would be continual, unbroken, unending. That day is here as God is raising up a global prayer movement that will, and is being established in cities across the earth.
We have found that night and day prayer and worship is doable. The idea is to have a community of worship leaders, musicians, singers, prayer leaders and intercessors who take two hour slots of time. Two hour slots of time is a very practical way to accomplish the goal of continual prayer and worship.
We see a great example of night and day prayer and worship in David's tabernacle and also in Revelation chapter 5. As John is enabled to experience a glimpse of what is taking place in heaven's throne room, we find that worship and prayer is not only at the forefront but it is sustained and it is continual. And so at Fort Worth Prayer Center we are not only fulfilling prophecy but we are implementing what we know is already taking place in heaven right now.
